Food and Wake ,without any new arriving tourists, they have been wakeboarding a lot with the staff, and locals and residents. It’s been fun to bond, and see old friends again, which we lost track off during the busier tourism times.

To continue, they organised an open Wakepark Day, free for all locals and residents.

And now, they organise another project, called “Food and Wake” for Siargao Kids.

Last Saturday, they did their first try-out event and invited all kids from the local village Consuelo. More than 40 kids showed up and spent the afternoon laughing, swimming, wakeboarding and having a nice meal!

Since the opening 2 years ago, they have been wanting to start a community activity where the people of Siargao can benefit the wakepark and experience our way of riding.

These uncertain times calls for opportunity!

They’re inviting all the kids of the surrounding villages to come to the wakepark and have a delicious meal while learning how to wakeboard!

To make this happen, They  need your help!

They’re  now accepting donations.

For 2000php (40USD or 35EUR), you can help us accommodate 10 kids every hour in our “Wake and Food Program”. The more funds we raise, the more kids will be given a chance to enjoy this experience.

The wakepark activity expense, is brought to the bare minimum, enough to pay for the electricity, maintenance and staff. We want to keep open and give everyone on the island the opportunity to ride.

In the spirit of Christmas – love and giving , we are appealing for help and assistance for the people of camsur whose homes , livelihood and property have been severely damaged by super typhoon #nockten #ninaph . #camsur bore the brunt of the #typhoon . They were at the eye and center of the #storm . Thousands of homes damaged , thousands are hungry and still in evacuation centers because they have no home to come back to . They have experienced this before and worst but they have been able to rebuild with the help of everyone. If you’re a festival junkie and can’t wait for Fringe, fear not, for the 15-Minutes of Fame Film Festival has relocated from Cocoa Beach to Orlando and will be screening roughly 50 short movies on a weekend – for free – at the International Palms Resort and Conference Center on I-Drive. stay tuned the next show will start october 17th 2015


This mini-festival has an odd history. Although this is its seventh year – and 13 th festival, thanks to its sporadic scheduling – this is its first time in Orlando, which means expectations should be kept to a minimum regarding the quality and the display of the films. However, three factors make the festival more attractive than it might appear at first glance.

First, it’s in an area sorely lacking in festivals – but not in audience. The hotel, at 6515 International Drive, is in the heart of tourist country, halfway between Sand Lake Road and Wet ‘n Wild.

Second, it’s a nice showcase for local filmmakers, some of whom will be in attendance. In this respect, it has a lot in common with the Enzian’s monthly FilmSlam, though many of the 56 films being show here may share FilmSlam’s low-budget and student-film feel. Still, with dramas, comedies, thrillers, animated films, experimental movies, music videos and documentaries from around the world, there may be some topnotch surprises.

Third, the event is free and promises complimentary parking as well. That convenience, combined with the easy-to-follow schedule of hour-long blocks, makes this one of the most user-friendly mini-festivals ever.
