Food and Wake ,without any new arriving tourists, they have been wakeboarding a lot with the staff, and locals and residents. It’s been fun to bond, and see old friends again, which we lost track off during the busier tourism times.

To continue, they organised an open Wakepark Day, free for all locals and residents.

And now, they organise another project, called “Food and Wake” for Siargao Kids.

Last Saturday, they did their first try-out event and invited all kids from the local village Consuelo. More than 40 kids showed up and spent the afternoon laughing, swimming, wakeboarding and having a nice meal!

Since the opening 2 years ago, they have been wanting to start a community activity where the people of Siargao can benefit the wakepark and experience our way of riding.

These uncertain times calls for opportunity!

They’re inviting all the kids of the surrounding villages to come to the wakepark and have a delicious meal while learning how to wakeboard!

To make this happen, They  need your help!

They’re  now accepting donations.

For 2000php (40USD or 35EUR), you can help us accommodate 10 kids every hour in our “Wake and Food Program”. The more funds we raise, the more kids will be given a chance to enjoy this experience.

The wakepark activity expense, is brought to the bare minimum, enough to pay for the electricity, maintenance and staff. We want to keep open and give everyone on the island the opportunity to ride.

Notre rider Victor Salmon a déchiré les spots sélectionnés pour l’occasion aussi bien en winch que sur les cable-parks. C’est grâce a une team soudée de 5 personnes, que nous avons pu parcourir tous ses spots, à la vitesse de l’éclair et grâce également a tout le matos que GOPRO nous avait mit à disposition ces shoots unique et impressionnants.

Cette équipe nous a permit d’avoir une tournée fluide et sans soucis, en assurant toute la mise en place en sécurité des spots rencontrés tout au long de notre périple, et afin mettre en valeur le réel niveau des sportifs.

Apres 5 jours de tournage, nous avions suffisamment de bons rush pour monter la vidéo finale, qui a été présentée en exclusivité sur Unleashedwakemag.com notre plus fidèle partenaire media sur sa partie internationale.

We have the best urban cable in the world, a shop with the newest gear, a café with delicious food and drinks, a beach with great atmosphere, and our very own staff consisting of riders, who are eager to learn you how to ride and do tricks.

We have two cable systems, our main cable and a 2.0 cable and lots of obstacles.
The main cable is a 6 tower system, and it is 585 metres long, which gives high tension and lots of air.
The 2.0 cable is a 2 tower system, mainly for kids and beginners.
Obstacles: 2 funboxes, 2 kickers, 2 flatboxes, a short rail and a long rail.”
