For the last 5 years Daniel has  always posted something at the end of the year / season, usually During His  birthday. Based in Asia, they  also have the Lunar / Chinese New Year. Knowing he wasn’t gonna make his  birthday, He wanted to make sure he would get something out in time, before the Lunar New Year.  Say goodbye to the year of the pig and welcome the rat !

I start every season trying to come up with something new, something that gives me balance in life. I always think I have worked out how to do something better than the previous year, but sometimes those things don’t work out as you expect or plan.

I travelled the season with a battery powered portable winch. For my first flight out of Bangkok, the Airline confiscated my batteries. By the time, I could get the batteries, I the time I had planned to winch at the start of the season was gone. Once I had the time and location to use the winch, it broke down on me, and we could not get a repair. The idea of flying with a winch to new unknown locations, was the idea. Sadly, things did not work out as planned but we have another year with fresh ideas

My season more or less ended at the end of August, when Orlando was hit Hurricane Dorian, I was unable to get multiple interviews for my podcast and already several countries that I had planned to winch, all were cancelled due to the problems with the winch as well as having to change my plans due to the Hurricane.

So here is my edit a “mix and mash” of 2019. It is everything it says it is, Basically it’s a mash up of all the edits that came out last year through out the season with a little extra! following the music was selected and mixed by myself. (DJ Hotbox)

Wakelagoona

Wakelagoona c’est une école de wakeboard à 25min de Bordeaux et Langon, en pleine nature. Elle comporte un cablepark / téléski avec modules et deux bateaux de wake, encadrés par des moniteurs diplômés d’état. Mais c’est aussi un spot de chill avec un point de restauration et des activités : ping-pong, trampoline, pétanque, etc… Notre système 2.0 est un tir fesse aller retour munis de quatre modules qui permettront aux débutants de découvrir une nouvelle sensation et aux riders confirmés de réaliser de superbes tricks. Tous nos modules sont fabriqués par une marque française avec une matière glissante sans élément coupant pour assurer au maximum votre sécurité.

Un double kicker : un tremplin dont la courbe progressive permet de s’envoler pour réaliser des figures aériennes. Les riders pourront utiliser ce tremplin à l’aller et au retour du parcours.

Une box de 20 mètres : idéal pour l’apprentissage du ride sur les modules. La longueur permet aux riders expérimentés d’enchaîner des combinaisons de figures.

Un tube de 20 mètres : à 90 cm de haut avec une entrée que les riders apprécient particulièrement. Les meilleurs effectuent des entrées sur le côté en olie.

Un roof de 20 mètres : avec une entrée très progressive pour faciliter l’apprentissage. Les riders expérimentés effectuent des transferts en haut du module.

Possibilité de le prendre de l’autre côté en olie.

Camsur Watersport Complex

Le CamSur Watersports Comlex est le premier complexe nautique de classe mondiale aux Philippines et en Asie. Ce complexe de six (6) hectares, avec son système de ski par câble en 6 points, attirera à coup sûr des milliers d’invités, de riders et de spectateurs de partout dans le monde. En raison des bonnes conditions météorologiques, le cablepark peut être pratiqué toute l’année. Les câbles tournent dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre autour du lac. De plus, un moteur électrique à vitesse variable peut maintenir des vitesses entre 20 et 65 km/h les câbles.
