Ils nous avaient permis de faire notre couverture pour le magazine international numéro 67, on vous présente aujourd’hui une marque incontournable dans le wakeboard : Double Up Wake !

L’histoire

On ne peut pas parler de wakeboard sans parler de la marque Double Up Wake… Créée aux Etats-Unis en 1996 et maintenant localisée en Australie, la marque créée par Jonathan Kohlman et Scott Broome propose une gamme de produits qui se veut simple et efficace. Simple pour que le rider puisse s’adapter facilement à la planche et exprimer son style sans contraintes et avec aisance. Efficace pour une meilleure réactivité du matériel sur l’eau.

Experts du cable park

Orientées vers une pratique cable/wake park, les planches DUP ont la réputation, tout à fait fondée, d’être robustes et fiables. Avec leur noyau en bois de Pauwlonia léger et réactif, elles répondent immédiatement et avec précision aux ordres du rider.La marque s’est d’ailleurs fait une spécialité des planches à rocker 3 niveaux, assurant un pop énorme pour toujours plus d’amplitude dans vos tricks.

Pour assurer un maximum de longévité, DUP intègre des parois latérales polyuréthane à ses planches, le tout enchâssés dans une fibre de verre tri axiale 600g. Les semelles Dyna Base 2 viennent compléter la construction de ces petits bijoux de technologie pour un résultat ultra solide.

Ses planches n’ont donc qu’un seul objectif : tout fracasser au park !

The 2019 Peak is an entirely new binding for 2019. With feedback from Nico Lerchenfeld, we stripped down the Trek and what’s left over is a high-performance boot that’s very easy to get in and out of with the new, locked in, speed lacing system. This system makes the boot customized for any support and the new walk liner with the slim, more secure, Velcro closure makes this the ultimate park boot and great for boat riders as well.
