Né dans une famille où le wakeboard est bien plus qu’un simple loisir, Raph Derome a grandi avec la pression de la performance et l’excellence comme normes. Son frère aîné, Oli Derome, lui-même un talentueux wakeboarder, a été à la fois son plus grand rival et son plus grand allié. Cette dynamique familiale a forgé le caractère et la détermination de Raph, le poussant à repousser constamment ses limites et à se perfectionner.

Le film “Au Revoir” retrace les moments marquants de la carrière de Raph, depuis ses débuts sur l’eau jusqu’à ses triomphes dans les compétitions internationales. Mais au-delà des victoires et des trophées, ce documentaire met en lumière l’homme derrière le champion. On y découvre ses doutes, ses sacrifices, et la quête incessante de liberté et d’authenticité qui l’a guidé tout au long de sa carrière.

Ce Film  souligne la modestie de Raph Derome, malgré ses nombreux succès. Bien qu’il ait souvent été sous les projecteurs, Raph est resté une figure discrète et humble, préférant laisser parler ses performances sur l’eau. Son retrait de la compétition marque la fin d’une ère pour le wakeboard, mais son influence perdurera à travers ceux qu’il a inspirés et les records qu’il a établis.

The concept for ‘formats’ is to incorporate modern technology with classic ingenuity and film composition, creating a timeless movie.
