Hi Marcy – Can you introduce yourself in a few words?
Hi to all the riders of Unleashed Wake Magazine!!! I’m Marcy Grassis, I’m nine years old and I’m crazy about Wakeboarding!!
Years wakeboarding?
I started wakeboarding two years ago near my home at Wakeboard Park Ivrea.
How did you start wakeboarding?
I started snowboarding when I was four years old and two years ago a friend asked me, “Why don’t you try wakeboarding?” I loved it immediately!!!
Do you do any other boardsports?
Yes snowboarding, skateboarding and surfing!
What do you like the most about wakeboarding?
I love riding and having fun with my friends, the water, the sun and always trying to do new tricks.
What tricks are you working on right now?
Now I’m working on: FS5 double grab, Tantrum to blind, Transfer 270 .
Air tricks: Frontflip, Husband,Backroll to revert.
Who is your favorite rider, and why?
My favorite rider is Daniel Grant. I met him last season at Wake to Paradise in Brescia and he was very kind to me. He has an amazing style and he can do difficult tricks with extreme ease.
Favorite Wake Video?
My favorite Wake Video is X Games Daniel Grant Real Wake 2015.
What do you like to do outside of wakeboarding?
I like to play with my friends, my sister and my dog. I like swimming and I have a lot of fun at the gym where I do acrobatic gymnastics.
What do you dislike?
I don’t like football. Many Italian people only talk about football.
Name a trick you would like to do one day?
Double Husband l, Frontside 1200 and Double Tantrum to blind.
Which do you prefer, rails or kickers?
I prefer kickers but I also like rails.
If you could have a session with anyone, who would it be?
With Dominik Hernler. He is a great wakeboard gangster !
Tell us a bit about Your Home Spots?
I normally ride at Wakeboard Park Ivrea near Turin in northern Italy. It’s near my home.
There are some structures: a kicker, bank kicker, box, spine kicker, step down box,rooftop and a framed fun box.
Do you always ride alone?
No, I always ride with some friends and with the young boys of the Italian Team.
