Paris Gears Up to Host the 2024 IWWF World Cable Wakeboard & Wakeskate Championships
One of the most popular destinations after the Olympics Paris 2024
“The 2024 IWWF World Cable Wakeboard & Wakeskate Championships will be held from 15th to 22ndSeptember 2024 at Le Kable, in Choisy le Roi, Paris.
Following the success of the 2023 IWWF European Cable Wakeboard Championships at the same venue, this global event will gather the world’s top wakeboard and wakeskate athletes. With over 200 riders expected, this event will be a highlight of the international cable wakeboarding calendar, drawing fans and supporters from across the globe.
Patrice Martin, President of the Fédération Française de Ski Nautique et de Wakeboard (FFSNW), expressed his enthusiasm: “We are thrilled to host the 2024 IWWF World Cable Wakeboard & Wakeskate Championships in Paris. “Le Kable” offers world-class facilities that will undoubtedly help the riders perform at their best. We look forward to welcoming participants and spectators to what promises to be an unforgettable event.”
Paris promises to be the top sports destination this Summer and participants of the 2024 IWWF World Cable Wakeboard & Wakeskate Championships will for sure feel the recent Olympic vibe in the city.
Next year marks a historic milestone as cable wakeboarding returns to the prestigious stage of the World Games after a two-decade hiatus. Participation in the 2024 IWWF World Cable Wakeboard Championships is mandatory for riders aspiring to secure one of the limited qualifying cable wakeboard spots available to compete in The World Games 2025, in Chengdu, China. There will only be 14 spots allocated for men and 14 spots for wom to be part of these multi-sports games.
